Spring Into Action-Help Get West End Kids an Imagination Playground!

An Imagination Playground in Action at Atlanta's Bethune Elementary School

We need to raise $1,000 this week to ship an Imagination Playground to Atlanta's E.L. Connally School in the West End in time to surprise the students on their end-of-school Play Day!

Morehouse's Omega Psi Phi Fraternity has been working with the Atlanta Taskforce on Play (ATOP) to develop a three-year project to bring play to the children in the neighborhoods around their school. Last week, KaBOOM!, the national non-profit dedicated to giving all children access to play, announced that we had won an Imagination Playground for E.L. Connally School. And, believe me, the wonderful children at this school deserve a great place to play which they don't have now.

WE NEED YOUR HELP TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN---Please go right away to ATOP's donation page and make a tax deductible contribution so we can surprise the kids on their end-of-school play day! (KaBOOM! donated the play set, but we are responsible for paying the shipping costs - it's only fair.)

Click here --> LET THE KIDS PLAY! This will take you to our Park Pride page. In the first box, click the drop down arrow to the right of the empty box and click on Atlanta Taskforce on Play. That will take you to the secure donation page where you can make your tax-deductible contribution.

We will keep you posted on how much has been raised. Any excess funds will go to creating more play opportunities for children in Atlanta.

Let's make this happen!! Thank you from ATOP and all the Morehouse men from Omega Psi Phi Fraternity!!

The money was raised and the children got their Imagination Playground sets! Congratulations to Morehouse 2015 graduate Artesse Conley for representing his fraternity and working so hard to make this gift happen. Well done!

Ethan E., our first donor

Ethan's grandmother gave him a gift of $25. He gave $20 to ATOP so more Atlanta kids will have great places to play. He kept $5 to get something cool for himself. We think Ethan is pretty cool!
