Making Atlanta a Great Place to Play

Want to be a part of the Great Atlanta Play Day, but don't know what to do? There are great activiites all over Atlanta.

GoGirlGo! and A5 Volleyball Club are hosting a volleyball clinic for girls at Oglethorpe University.

The Chattahooche Nature Center is leading guided nature hikes, canoe trips and much more.

20 neighborhoods are sponsoring Park Pride 20 picnics in 20 parks to celebrate the organization's 20th anniversary. See if one of the picnics is in your community park.

Come join us at Bethune Elementary School for the unveiling of Georgia's FIRST Imagination Playground in a Box (IPB). The school carnival will run from 10:30 until 1:30, with pony rides, big jumpy things, clowns, facepainting, food, games and much more!

See if there is a Play Day event in your neighborhood, and if not....PLAN ONE! It's easier than you think. Follow the link to KaBOOM'2 website and look at all the great ideas they have for playing all day!

Be sure to take pictures of your Great Atlanta Play Day event and share them with us!

Ethan's grandmother gave him a gift of $25. He gave $20 to ATOP so more Atlanta kids will have great places to play. He kept $5 to get something cool for himself. We think Ethan is pretty cool!
