PlayAtlanta

Some children like to run and jump, some children like to dig and build, and some children like to sit in a quiet spot and tell stories, or draw, or just talk. This little quiet corner of the Tule Elk Park School in San Francisco is the perfect spot for quiet moments.

Hanging outside the garden shed is the Root Museum. What a great name.

Another great place to sit. Look at the wonderful face. I'll have to find out where this bench came from. I can imagine children remembering this spot for their entire lives.

A long mural about printing, reading, books.

It takes parents, teachers, school administration and the community working together to create such an inspiring place as Tule Elk Park school. Hopefully, every school in Atlanta will someday have such a rich environment available for their students.

Ethan's grandmother gave him a gift of $25. He gave $20 to ATOP so more Atlanta kids will have great places to play. He kept $5 to get something cool for himself. We think Ethan is pretty cool!
