Cochran Mill Nature Center is located just 20 minutes south of Atlanta in Palmetto, Georgia. The center's log structure is located by a pond on fifty privately-owned, heavily-wooded acres. Whether hiking, participating in an environmental education program or dropping by for a relaxing hike, day by the pond or picnic lunch in our pavilion, Cochran Mill Nature Center has something for you. Playground of the Month


BETHUNE Elementary School This month, our Playground of the Month is one that has not been built yet. Students, parents, staff, and volunteers are busy at work preparing for an awesome playground to be built in the Fall of 2009. Congratulations to the students for their great playground designs!
